Fall Festives

It's that time of Year.. Where the breeze is good.. The nights are longer.. VS PINK Hoodies can come back out! (Yessssss! Winning!)

 FALL

That's right It's Pumpkin Time & if Your anything like Me; You decorate Your House & Your Yard for EVERY (Yes EVERY) Holiday! So here's a thought:

Take a bit of Your COMPOST & set it in front of your bends (or whatever you keep it in). Just enough to cover the ground about 5 inches high & however wide as the amount of Pumpkins (or kids you have). Once You carve & decorate Your Pumpkins go ahead & toss the Pumpkin Guts into Your COMPOST.

"FALL Made COMPOST"

Next set Your display of Pumpkins on TOP of Your COMPOST you've set aside. Not only does this look very Fall Festive, but once The Pumpkins have set through Fall they will begin to soften & rot. If you leave them unbothered they will last for awhile; especially if they're painted & not carved.

1 thing about this; as they begin to rot & they're just sitting in dirt they tend to kind of mix w/ the ground & soil beneath it. Making you have to dig into the earth its resting on. You're going to have to dig it up until you get it all. B/c if your a TRUE COMPOSTER the sight of how RICH The soil underneath has become is TRULY AMAZING! (Far to amazing to leave behind.)

So back to The Pumpkins on The COMPOST; leave it there & when ALL Hope has gone grab a hoe & get to smooshing! Mix the soil/COMPOST into the rotten Pumpkin & distribute evenly amongst Your COMPOST bends.
